Decorating the Christmas trees.

Saturday night we got the trees out and got busy decorating. The only problem was that Andrew did not want to go to bed so we let him in on some of the festivities. He was very excited when he saw the trees and ran circles around the room. We thought that he will never go to bed, but surprisingly after the second try he did go down till morning.

We had been planning this weekend since Halloween. Even though it isn't even Thanksgiving yet it gets too crazy afterward to be able to enjoy the decorations. We had started a tradition when we got married that each year we decorate the trees, cook some good food, get some sparkling wine and watch "It's a Wonderful Life". It is our special time together and we also get the house ready for Christmas. This year was no different.

In the morning Andrew did not take very long to realize that something has changed in the house. The Christmas trees were decorated.

We have another tree in the corner of the dining-room with decorations that Andrew loves to look at, and just explain away in his language. It is a lot of fun to watch him!
